Comments on Tetracyclines for Nurses and Episode 67
WOW! my daughter is allergic to Penicillin. She has been on Tetraciclynes at least once. Neither or pediatrician nor our pharmacist talked to me about any of the side effects or contraindications of this medication. But Now I know thanks to the nursing show!
Thanks for the comment, Martha! It’s not an absolute contra-indication, more of a precautionary watch and see. My son is allergic to PCN, too, and he takes tetracyclines without issues. Keep in touch!
