Tip of The Week- Anxiety Disorders

Mild to moderate anxiety is a normal response when confronted with stressful situations. It helps the person cope with situation by making them more alert, however, too much anxiety can be a disabling disorder.

There are five major types of anxiety disorders:

• Generalized anxiety disorder
• Obsessive-compulsive disorder
• Panic disorder
• Post-traumatic stress disorder
• Social Phobia or social anxiety disorder
