My friend, Kim over at the Emergiblog wrote this post on her response as a nurse to the recent healthcare reform legislation. While she and I don’t always see eye to eye politically, I still think she voices some good concerns about what this reform package doesn’t provide.
I left a few comments of my own to her article. Check out both her article and my comments and then leave a few comments of your own. This law is sure to be adjusted and changed as the effects are reviewed in coming years.
It is important to remain involved in this discussion, indeed as nurses, we are responsible to be involved in any adjustments at the local, state, and federal level.
